The blessedness of LMU captures cultivable Fadama land areas among others. College of Agricultural Sciences of LMU took the advantage of the Fadama cultivable areas in LMU to produce rice. A special technology called Serif is currently engaged. Four stages of rice production include:  

1. Land preparation.
2. Puddling.
3. Levelling.
4. Transplanting.
5. Maintenance.
6. Harvesting.
7. Processing.
8. Packaging.
